Dark garnet edge. The nose recalls wet earth, plum, cardamom and notes mentholated, perhaps tobacco. On the palate a strong mineral note, almost ferrous, is integrated with tannic and saline strokes that mark a good balance.
It goes well with structured menus based on first and second courses of meat or game. Perfect in combination with cured meats and aged cheeses.
